The mission of Atwork Construction Inc. is to provide professional scaffolding and carpentry expertise with a team of highly trained and efficient personnel for customers who require a superior product built to their requirements
with safety as the critical component.
SUCCESS STORY
Atwork Construction Inc. has been selected as a Success Story of 2023 by Community Futures, South Central region. Community Futures is a non-profit corporation through the Department of Western Economic Diversification with a mandate to help create employment and wealth by assisting in the establishment of sustainable businesses. The geographical area of Community Futures, South Central covers 72 rural and urban Saskatchewan municipalities serving a total population of 58,200. The criteria to be selected as a Success Story involves company growth and job creation within the region.
COR DESIGNATION
On March 28, 2022, Atwork Construction Inc. achieved the Certificate of Recognition (COR) designation, the extensive Occupational and Health Safety program verifying a company has
a fully implemented health and safety management system that meets or exceeds national standards. We are one of seven companies in Moose Jaw with COR (as of November 15, 2023) and have been injury free for our entire existence, with a 25% reduction in WCB premiums.
ISNETWORLD
On July 24, 2023, Atwork Construction Inc. became a member of ISNetworld, the global leader in contractor and supplier information management. The subscription based platform helps companies identify the most qualified contractors that meet or exceed industry, regulatory, and company-specific standards in the areas of health, safety, quality, insurance, training, cybersecurity as well as environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG).
EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION
Atwork Construction Inc. places a great deal of value on job satisfaction, as a happy employee is a productive employee. The management has an open door policy and will continue to encourage sharing of ideas or concerns with an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels heard and appreciated. The company has additional plans to host two or more employee recognition functions each year in the spirit of a work hard, play hard philosophy. At the next large scale project where 10 or more workers are required, Atwork Construction Inc. will begin
a profit sharing program to all current and future full-time employees who want to share in the company vision.
